How To Send Messages To Phone Using Email

Simple Steps To Send Text Messages From your Computer Using Email To A Phone

Step 1:

Open your email client (a computer program used to access and manage a user’s email). For example (gmail, Yahoo, att.net, Microsoft Outlook, etc.).

Step 2:

In the “To:” field, put the users phone number followed by the ‘@’ symbol and then their mobile carrier. Take a look at the example below if the phone number you wanted to send a sms message to is 555–123–4567, then in the “To:” You would put the following:

Ex: 5551234567@txt.att.net

NOTE: For T-Mobile, be sure to put the number ‘1’ in front of the phone number.

SMS is a text messaging service component of most telephone, internet, and mobile-device systems.

Step 3:

Write a message like you would to send an email to someone.
NOTE: Messages must be under 160 characters.

If you don’t know what service your friend is using go to https://www.carrierlookup.com/ , type in your friends phone number and click lookup carrier.

Now you can use this method to send text messages to someone's phone. Possibly even automate messages !
